Lot’s of cool bikes, babes, and bike lovers came out for Jim’s Harley Davidson demo rides event. I managed to insert myself between these 2 pretty girls for a photo.

This is just the coolest dog. Huge. And wearing goggles. Couldn’t resist taking a picture.

Bike Builder Invitational. Some of my favorites:
The 1st Annual Attorney Fran Haasch Food and Toy Drive in Palm Harbor was on November 13th. The Food & Toy Drive was to benefit two local charities: F.E.A.S.T. Food Pantry and 4 KID’s Charity. We brought along some food items to contribute to the mix.
Sandwiches, refreshments and desserts were served. It was nice to hang out with those who share our love of the open road. Born To Ride, Full Throttle, GoFAR, and Rider Now magazine were all in attendance. Also, check out www.BikersPost.com a relatively new social networking site for bikers. They’ve mainly been in SE Florida but are expanding into this area as well.

Quaker Steak MEGA BASH, St Petersburg, FL with Big Brother Band, Greg Billings Band, Radical Randy bike show, & trike races.
The 5th annual Cotee River Bike Fest, in New Port Richie, FL was at a nice location right by the river, in and around the downtown area. Lots of vendors, and the Ride Like a Pro guys were there doing a great presentation of how it’s really done.
Nice view of the Cotee River

Filed under Events, Motorcycle touring | Comments OffSunny day, mid-80’sF and time for a ride. Cruised up to Brooksville via Hwy 41, then across Hwy 50 to Aripeka. Had a nice lunch overlooking the river, and flirted with the waitress.

Climbed the tower to see what’s what up there.

Nice view.

Then home…
Filed under Motorcycle touring | Comments OffSaturday was Jim’s Harley Davidson in St Petersburg, FL for their National Open House. Then Sunday was a little Florida NW tour to Rainbow River and Cedar Key. Saw this Honda 250 with side car out on the island at Cedar Key.

Saw this one at Jim’s HD. Nice clean lines.

Watching the Horseshoe Crabs at Cedar Key.

This 1947 Harley Davidson motorcycle is truly a classic.

Took my grandson up to Tarpon Springs, FL Sponge Docks Bike Fest. This little Greek Fishing village in Florida is always picturesque, and nice to see with lots of fellow bikers.
